Be sure to hug yourself
with the hug of God,
because God's greatest delight
is to feel us hugging ourselves
in the divine Embrace.
That is how we awaken
and prepare for the sacrament
of hugging each other.
If you think this is silly,
your haven't wrapped yourself
around your own forgiven body.
Now run out in the back yard,
sink down in stinging wet grass
and spread your arms.
Become the horizon.
Carry the earth like a baby.
